Member of the Board
Ramesh is presently on the managerial Board at SKP. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1987 and ranked eleventh at an all India level. He also won the Shapoorji Billimoria Award for the best paper in Advanced Accounting and Financial Management. Thereafter, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Bombay University and also cleared the Company Secretary exams.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Deepti heads SKP’s transaction support and business advisory team with over 13 years of post-qualification experience. She has experience in handling advisory assignments across several industries including banking, textiles, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, services and non-profit entities. She has been actively involved in valuations, due diligence, restructuring, synergy estimation in mergers, intangible valuations, transaction structuring, greenfield set-up services and all phases of transaction advisory services.
Manoj heads the Marketing and Communication teams at SKP and is responsible for the Group’s overall marketing strategy and initiatives. He supports the various practices at SKP in maximising visibility and demand for their services, providing insights into how to effectively go to market. While focusing on brand building, he is constantly working towards developing strong relationships and expanding the Group’s network. He plays a lead role in connecting the practices with prospects and clients, helping them find tailored solutions to meet their business goals.
With over 13 years of experience in cross-border tax, Maulik head’s the transfer pricing and international tax practice at SKP. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he advises multinational corporations on Indian and foreign transfer pricing rules in all contexts, including planning, litigation, Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), and contemporaneous documentation studies.
Mehul heads SKP’s process consulting and business process management function that he helped set up in 2004. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Mehul has worked with clients in a range of industries including automotive, engineering, retail, aviation, food processing, healthcare and consumer finance. With his deep insight into processes in the context of client businesses, he works with clients on performance improvement projects. He also spearheaded the implementation of SKP’s quality management system and its certification under ISO 9001:2008.
Nimish heads business development for SKP’s finance and accounting outsourcing function. He is also involved in building relationships in the North American market for SKP’s business advisory and execution services for companies interested in doing business in India. With his expert knowledge and years of experience in information technology, he has built SKP’s technology backbone and also heads the information technology and automation teams. He has been instrumental in bringing dramatic efficiencies and redefining how rule-based, repetitive tasks are performed. He led the certification of SKP’s information security management system under ISO 27001.
Pakzad heads the People (Human Resources) function at SKP. With over 14 years of multidisciplinary experience, he is adept at end-to-end people management, spanning the entire employee lifecycle from pre-inception to separation. Besides having led several innovative people-acquisition initiatives, he places great emphasis on coaching and people development. His information technology background also helps him bring about balanced automation into the people domain without losing sight of the required human interface. In addition, he works closely with SKP’s business advisory and corporate services teams on HR consulting assignments.
With over 10 years of experience, Pratik heads the indirect tax practice at SKP. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he also holds an Advance Diploma in Indirect Taxes. Pratik has successfully handled indirect taxation matters across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, construction, infrastructure, information technology, hygiene, finance, oil refineries, manufacturing and services.
Having specialised in accounting, Pushkar heads the corporate services function at SKP. Along with his team, he provides financial-controller-level services to the Indian entities of foreign/multinational companies and has handled clients from over 30 countries. He focuses on companies setting up operations in India and on servicing them throughout their business lifecycle. Providing a full suite of services that includes accounting, payroll, tax and regulatory compliances, he takes complete ownership, enabling clients to focus on their business.
Alpana heads SKP’s BPM practice for offshore clients and holds additional responsibility of process improvement and automation for all practices. She has a passion for people development and continual improvement. She has been a part of client acquisitions and has led several new project set ups including transitions. Prior to SKP, she was the Financial Controller for a mid-sized hospitality services company in London. A Commerce graduate, Alpana qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. She is also a CPA from Georgia State board of accountancy.
Sandeep heads the finance and accounts operations of several large domestic clients. His key strength lies in dealing with dynamic situations and the changing client needs. He has been instrumental in deepening client relations with his partnering approach to delivery and process improvement. Sandeep graduated in Commerce and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998.
Senior Business Adviser
Paul Halpin is a Chartered Accountant, a business services entrepreneur and a former Partner at PwC Johannesburg, London and Dublin, where he was an Advisory and Business Process Outsourcing Partner. With a strategic mindset, supported by 34 years of experience, Paul is a shareholder-focused business adviser. He has worked with clients in more than 30 countries, addressing complex problems for CEOs and for board chairpersons. He acts as a senior business adviser to SKP internationally, and holds several other independent positions.
As Special Adviser, Competition Policy, Dr Shyam Khemani brings extensive global and country-specific experience in providing advice, analytical economic and litigation support to public and private sector entities in the area of competition/antitrust (mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, cartels and monopolisation cases, economic damages), industrial organisation, competitive strategy, economic regulation, international trade and investments.
Senior Business Advisor
Ravindranath (Ravi) Menon has extensive international experience in regions like India, ASEAN, Greater China, Korea and the Middle East in the pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer-product industries. He has successfully established business start-ups and has driven growth in more developed areas. Ravi has a proven and effective leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that have enabled him to build, lead and motivate high performing teams across diverse cultures. He has also successfully built and managed complex relationships with joint venture business partners in India and Korea. Being involved in direct operations as well as in strategic roles of overseeing different businesses, Ravi brings a deeper perspective to his role of advising clients in the healthcare and FMCG industries.
